Software

I have implemented some tools, mainly for visualizing geometry. Here are those that are publicly available:

  • 2007 - .: surfer (www.Imaginary2008.de/surfer.php?lang=en) -- (with H. Meyer, C. Stussak, and others): visualizing algebraic surfaces. Very easy installation, both under Windows and Linux. However, it has fewer features than surfex.
  • 2001 - .: surfex (surfex.AlgebraicSurface.net) -- (with S. Holzer): visualizing algebraic surfaces interactively. Installation is quite easy under Linux. Under Windows and Mac, it is possible, but not so easy.
  • 2001 - 2002: spicy -- a (6 year old!) alpha version of a software for space and plane interactive constructive and algebraic geometry.
